Sewage overflowing from a clogged drain killed hundreds of fish in the Sheelavantha Lake at Nallurahalli near Whitefield.Officials from the fisheries department and the Bruhut Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) found out that a drainage pipe from the Nallurahalli side was blocked and the polluted water overflowed into the lake.
