A 55-year-old CRPF assistant sub-inspector from Bihar's Patna shot himself dead with his service weapon in Katra, J&K's Reasi district, at a makeshift CRPF picket along the Tarakote route. Colleagues discovered him with a chest bullet wound. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the suicide.
